Tempered glass is one of two kinds of safety glass regularly used in applications in which standard glass could pose a potential danger. Tempered glass is four to five times stronger than standard glass,it is manufactured through a process of extreme heating and rapid cooling, making it harder than normal glass. Tempered glass breaks in a unique way,it does not break into sharp shards when it fails,it becomes small obtuse angle pieces when broken. Thus people will not get hurt so much as ordinary glass.
Holllow Glass is a kind of glass made up of two or more sheets of top quality glass bonded together with a polyvinylbutyral (PVB) interlayer. After the PVB interlayer has been placed between the glass sheets, the whole assembly is subjected to heat and pressure. This makes the complete adhesion of the vinyl and the glass. In the event of breakage, the glass fragments remain bonded to the plastic interlayer.
